No. Select text in the app you are already using, press your Refyne shortcut, choose a mode, and continue working without switching tabs.

Refyne supports Groq and OpenRouter. You add your own API key, choose a model, and stay in control of your AI usage.

Yes. Your text is sent only to the AI provider you choose. Refyne does not store or log your content on its own servers. Optional local history stays on your device.

Yes. You can create personalized modes with custom prompts, assign your own shortcuts, and set the tone that matches your writing style.

No. Refyne needs an internet connection to reach your chosen AI provider. Everything else — settings, shortcuts, and optional history — runs locally on your device.

Open Refyne Settings, go to Shortcuts, and press the key combination you want. The app will register it as a global hotkey that works across all Windows apps.

Right now Refyne is Windows only. We are evaluating Mac and Linux support based on demand.
